Arête Christian School admits and welcomes qualified students of any race, color, creed, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally afforded to students at our school. Entrance interviews/screenings are required of all applicants. The foremost goal of our school’s admissions process is to determine whether a student will have a successful and positive academic, social, and Christian experience while at Arête Christian School.

Our Admissions staff aims to provides the attention, information and support that you need to make one of the most important decisions of a lifetime. The admission committee considers many variables such as screening (diagnostic) results, teacher input, gender, and any records or information from a previous school. The committee looks for evidence of good character, intellectual ability, emotional maturity, and breadth of interests. As our mission states, we are committed to high academic achievement and the development of moral character, thus producing productive, successful, and competitive Christ-like citizens.

Application Process

Submit a completed application form along with the $25.00 $application fee. Age requirements by August 1 for students entering our Pre-Kindergarten Program must be 3-years-old or 4-years-old, SK must be 5-years-old and 1st grade must be 6-years-old. Applications will be mailed upon request.

Upon receipt and review of the application, a member of the Arête Christian School Administration staff will call to set a date for an interview with you and your child. The meeting is a time where ACS's Administrative staff, the parents and the child(ren) to meet and get to know each other. We will discuss the enrollment application and all additional pertinent information. You must provide current report cards, standardized testing scores administered within the last 12 months, and a copy of the certified birth certificate. This is also a time for you, as the parents and your child to ask any questions.

Upon receipt of the application and fee, a member ACS's Administration staff will contact the parent to schedule the Diagnostic Test. Each student considered for enrollment is given diagnostic tests to determine skill and concept mastery. This assessment helps our staff identify the student’s academic needs in each subject.

Arête Christian School's Management and Advisory Board will review and determine if your child meets the requirements for admission. Notification of acceptance, or not, will be mailed to you.

If your child is accepted the registration fee, $125.00, is due within ten (10) business days after receiving notification of acceptance letter to ensure your child's place at Arête Christian School for that school year.
The Final Step -
Once enrolled, the parents, student, and ACS staff will meet to review the analysis of the diagnostic assessment and the student's academic placement. Parents will receive the individualized learning path and curriculum that meets and challenges your child at his or her performance level.
Tuition & Fees
Application & Testing Fees:
Students applying for grades Jr. K through 12th grades have a registration fee of $125.00 and a testing fee of $25.00.

Pre-Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten
$200.00/ student
Grades 1-12
$300.00/ student
One time payment can be made upon enrollment
or paid by semester.

Administrative Fee:
Parents are required to set up a TUITION EXPRESS account for billing and payments. This is a one-time fee of $50.00 due at the time of enrollment.

Tuition Fee:
Yearly Tuition is $4,500.00 per student

A 10% discount is offered for multiple children.

School Uniforms:
Students are required to wear uniforms which can be purchased through an outside vendor.
